Dr. Mahmoud El-Senoussy 

Dr. Mahmoud El-Senoussy is a Senior Environmental Geoscientist with over 13 years of international experience delivering complex environmental, marine, coastal, and sustainability projects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Geoscience, with research focused on the application of advanced geophysical and remote sensing technologies for the investigation of seafloor environments, reconstruction of ancient maritime landscapes, and analysis of interactions between environmental change, historical maritime activity, and extreme events. His work contributed to the development of high-resolution environmental models, geospatial mapping frameworks, and spatial analysis methodologies that enhanced the understanding of past environmental systems and human–environment dynamics.
Currently, he is engaged as Environmental Projects Manager at Euro Group Engineering Consultancy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he oversees the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary environmental projects for key governmental and institutional clients, including the Saudi Energy Company (SE), Sharqia Development Authority (SDA), National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), and various Royal Commissions.
His expertise covers environmental impact assessments, environmental auditing, ecological and biodiversity studies, marine investigations, habitat restoration, environmental monitoring programs, nature-based solutions, and integrated sustainability planning. Over the course of his career, he has successfully delivered more than 30 environmental projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and applying evidence-based approaches to support regulatory compliance, strategic decision-making, and sustainable development objectives. His work is characterized by the integration of scientific rigor with practical, implementable solutions for complex environmental challenges.
