Village Road Design Works
Project Description
Upgrade the dilapidated road networks in the core villages to modern standards. There are over 75 identified core villages in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since the inception of Village Roads programme in 2003, more than 20 villages have been improved as per the priorities identified in coordination with Municipal Councils/public.
The project work consists of the following:
• Construction of new roads.
• Reconstruction of old roads.
• Block paved footpaths and block paved internal roads.
• Construction of parking areas.
• Storm Drainage Network.

Scope of Work
The project involves conducting topographic surveys, designing roadworks, and designing storm drainage networks for various blocks in Bahrain, including:
- SAAR Block No. 523
- Budaiya Block No. 553
- Budaiya Block No. 555
- Diraz Block No. 536 & No. 538
- Riffa Block No. 927
The scope includes detailed topographic surveys to map the land and gather the necessary data for accurate design work. The road design works will focus on developing efficient and safe road layouts that align with urban planning standards. Additionally, the storm drainage networks will be designed to ensure effective rainwater management, minimizing the risk of flooding and improving drainage infrastructure in these areas. This project aims to enhance the urban infrastructure, supporting sustainable development and the improvement of living conditions in these regions.
