Surface Water Level Reduction and Stormwater Drainage
Project Description
The project scope involves preparing comprehensive studies and designs aimed at lowering surface water levels and mitigating flood risks in the Greater Dammam area. This initiative will develop a strategic plan focused on the urban areas of Dammam, Khobar, and Dhahran, projecting for the year 1450 AH.
The study will identify critical areas within these cities that are vulnerable to flooding, whether from rainfall or transferred floodwaters. The project will provide tailored engineering and technical solutions to address these risks, ensuring sustainable and effective flood control measures. The plan will aim to improve the resilience of the region’s infrastructure, enhance public safety, and contribute to the long-term urban planning goals of Greater Dammam. The project aligns with the broader vision of urban development and climate adaptation in the Kingdom.
