Project Description
The Ministry of Municipal and Housing Affairs (MOMAH) has initiated a significant project to develop detailed designs for 160 flood protection and storm drainage systems. Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy has been appointed by MOMAH to undertake this comprehensive project. The project focuses on creating advanced designs for flood protection and storm drainage systems across multiple regions, utilizing data and recommendations from strategic master plan studies previously conducted for nine municipalities (Al Jawf –Al Hudud Al Shamaliyah –Hail –Hafar Al Batin –Al Taif –Al Bahah –Asir –Jazan –Najran)

Scope of Work
The project entails studying, preparing, and developing the detailed design and tender documents for multiple rainwater drainage projects. The scope of work includes the design of the following elements, tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of each project:
- Rainwater drainage network.
- Design Review of roads and structural work
- Development of infrastructure for stormwater drainage networks implemented by adding collection systems (secondary lines -rain catchments etc.)
- Collection channels on both sides of the road
- Single and multi-hole box sewers
- Canals and Flood protection works
- Bridges and Drainage tunnels
- Rainwater lifting stations and discharge lines.
- Sustainable drainage infrastructure compatible with road designs and urban landscaping plans of cities
- Marine drainage outfall tunnels, channels and connection chambers
- Flood warning and emergency sirens (if required)
- Calming basins
- Evaluation of dam overflows and dam outlets.
- Drainage plan, design and low-impact development policies
- Proposing and implementing sustainable storm drainage infrastructure
