Design Peer Review for the KAEC
Project Description
King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) is a major master-planned economic development located on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, approximately 100 km north of Jeddah. Spanning over 180 square kilometers, KAEC is a flagship initiative of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to diversify the economy beyond oil.
The city includes a modern port (King Abdullah Port), an industrial valley, residential communities, and business districts, with infrastructure designed to attract global investment and create employment opportunities. KAEC also features leisure, educational, and healthcare facilities, positioning it as a self-sustaining smart city for future generations.

The Services is to provide a peer review of the design to ensure the proposed design is compliant with the requirements of role of peer reviewer the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) infrastructure and utilities permitting procedure.
