Site Inspector – Roads & Bridges (Saudi National)

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is seeking a qualified Site Inspector to join our supervision team for the Jeddah Islamic Port Project with the Ministry of Transport & Logistics (MOT). The Site Inspector will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, inspection, and quality control of road and bridge construction works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, MOT standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise construction activities for roads and bridges to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and MOT standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare inspection reports, checklists, and photographic records.
• Verify that materials and workmanship meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals from contractors.
• Report any non-conformances, safety violations, or deviations from design to the Resident Engineer / Site Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical and site issues.
• Monitor progress of works and provide input for progress reports and site meetings.
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
• Support testing and commissioning activities related to road and bridge elements as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Saudi National (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising and executing construction works, specifically in roads and bridges projects.
• Previous experience on projects with the Ministry of Transport & Logistics (MOT) or similar government authorities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MOT standards, specifications, and construction practices for highways, pavements, and bridge structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and site inspection processes.
• Good communication and reporting skills in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
