Safety Inspector / Supervisor

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy seeks an experienced Safety Inspector / Supervisor to support Operations & Maintenance projects for Riyadh Municipality. The successful candidate will ensure implementation and enforcement of site safety and security standards, promote a culture of safety compliance, and support project teams in maintaining safe, orderly, and legally compliant work environments across municipal project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and enforce the approved site safety and security plan in accordance with contract and municipal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, Riyadh Municipality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Install and verify correct placement of safety signage, barriers and guidance materials.
• Conduct routine site inspections, housekeeping audits and ensure timely removal of waste and debris to maintain safe working conditions.
• Perform risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Report safety observations, non-conformances and corrective actions to project management and relevant authorities.
• Provide safety guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors; participate in toolbox talks, inductions and training as required.
• Maintain accurate digital records, safety reports and permit documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site safety supervision, preferably on municipal O&M or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 and local Saudi safety regulations.
• Proficient in digital reporting tools and MS Office.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Valid Kwader certificate preferred.
• Strong observational, communication and incident investigation skills; ability to liaise with municipal authorities and contractors.
