Project Description

The Project is to change the existing signalized Diamond interchange at the intersection between Al-Madinah third Ring Road and Al Hijra Highway to free interchange.The project encompasses the design of 10 interchanges along the 2nd Ring Road, 3rd Ring Road, and Al Hijra Highway, as well as the dualization of the Al Akhal–Al Sowayrikiyah–Mahd El Dahab roads, spanning a total length of 110 km. Additionally, the scope includes the development of service roads along the Madinah–Qassim Highway.

The interchanges includes 17 crossing bridges and 3 wadi bridges. The structural system of the deck is pre-stressed concrete T-girder, spans were variable from 15.00m to 47.00m.
