Project Description

The project involves comprehensive project management, encompassing the oversight of both ongoing and future projects, managing the design process, and coordinating all design works. It also includes handling the entire project tendering process for implementation and supervising the execution phase. A central focus of the project is the enhancement of contractor and consultant performance through the implementation of an advanced monitoring system for ongoing projects. This system aims to optimize the work environment, foster a culture of quality, and ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Additionally, the project emphasizes knowledge transfer and capacity-building efforts for the organization’s team. This includes providing training and development opportunities to ensure the sustained availability of qualified personnel capable of effectively managing operations. This approach not only enhances the project’s immediate success but also strengthens the organization’s long-term capabilities, ensuring a highly skilled workforce for future initiatives.

Scope of Work

  • Monitor the performance of the technical staff from both the supervision consultant and contractors at all stages of the project, ensuring that tasks are being carried out efficiently and according to the project’s specifications and quality standards.
  • Track the progress of work to ensure that it aligns with the owner’s requirements and is fully compliant with the contractual documents, making sure all milestones are achieved on time.
  • Review and approve financial statements submitted by contractors and consultants, providing detailed recommendations for either approval or rejection, ensuring transparency and accountability in the financial management of the project.
  • Offer technical recommendations on change requests submitted by contractors, assessing their feasibility and impact. Collaborate with the project management consultant and supervision consultant by attending technical meetings to review and discuss these requests and contractor claims in a structured manner.
  • Resolve disputes amicably by facilitating sessions between contractors and stakeholders to bridge differing perspectives. Aim to reach mutually beneficial solutions while keeping the employer informed of potential disputes, ensuring that the resolution process remains transparent and constructive.
  • Ensure timely project execution by actively monitoring the project’s progress against the approved timeline. Proactively notify relevant parties if any risks of delays are identified, and take corrective actions as needed to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Coordinate between the contractor and the supervision consultant to obtain technical approvals for works, ensuring that procedures and specifications are determined based on the specific needs of the requesting party. This process ensures that the work aligns with the overall project objectives and quality standards.
